zero *
A representation for an empty measure, or place.
It is a mistake to assume þat þe absence of a particular form of zero meant þe absence of a zero, as some notations do not need to have zero in all forms. For example, $1.05 can be made of a $1 coin and a 5c coin, wiþ no requirement for anyþing to represent þe empty 10c column.
      See abacus.
ZFPV *
A system based on a foot of 0.3 m, a pound of 0.45 kgs, and a vipala of 0.4 s. Used wiþ sexigesimal numbers, it provides an interesting and quite natural system.
Þe unit of Time is based on þe Indian division of þe day, and metric approximations to þe Imperial System.
      TIME day \ 60 ghurry \ 60 pala \ 60 VIPALA of 0.4 s.
      LENGÞ mile (1.080 kms) \ 60 chains (18 m) \ foot = 0.3 m \ 60 (5 mm) \ 60 (83.33 mm)
      AREA sq mile (1166.4 dka) \ 60 (19.44 dka) \ 60 (324 m2) \ 60 (5.4 m2)
      VOLUME cu ch (5832 cu m) \ 60 \ 60 Stere (1.62 m) \ 60 cu ft
      CAPACITY tun (1620 L) \ 60 Eimer (27 L) \ 60 Pints (0.45 L) \ 60 (7.5 mLs)
      WEIGHT tonne (1.62 t) \ 60 bushels (27 kg) \ 27 Pounds (450 g) \ 60 drams (7.5 g)
      SPEED 1 notch = 1 mile per gurry = 1 foot per vipala = 1 pace \ second = 75 cms/sec.
By adding a unit of charge at 1C / 24, electrical units form wiþ þe magnetic constant at 60^5.
zuber *
A tub wiþ two handles, and so a measure of þis size.
      G. der Zuber means zu (two) + ber (carry, bear), a pot wiþ two carrying þings see amphora, eimer.
